Jack Van Dasselaar #69
Jack, is nine years old this season and races out of the Manitoba Karting Club just south of Gimli. He’s been passionate about karting since he was four when he started out in a ‘Bambino’ Kart. Jack has gained extensive experience racing with coaches and other drivers in Manitoba & Saskatchewan, seeking fresh challenges and opportunities to showcase his skills.
As he begins his second season in the Junior 1 racing class, Jack looks to build on the success of the outstanding season he had last year, finishing 1st place overall in his class. He dreams of one day becoming a professional race car driver.
Cora Van Dasselaar #50
Cora is seven years old and heading into her third year of karting in a Bambino kart. Bambino karts are designed for kids aged 5-7 and have a smaller chassis. She is excited to continue developing her skills as a bambino driver as she prepares to move into the Junior 1 class next season.
Cora races at the Manitoba Karting Association and has also gained valuable experience practicing at tracks in Regina and Saskatoon alongside her brother, Jack. She loves being behind the wheel and is always eager to learn and improve every time she gets on the track.
As she continues to grow in the sport, Cora is focused on building her confidence , racecraft, and competitive experience. Away from racing, she has a passion for animals and hopes to become a veterinarian one day.
